County Training

What is County Training?

County training takes place weekly for selected Leicestershire players. Weekly training currently runs for boys and girls from 8U through to 18U. County training is designed to provide an opportunity for the best players to train together on a regular basis. The aim of the training programme  is to give us a greater chance of being successful at both junior and senior intercounty events.

  • 8U GIRLS/BOYS
    Captain: Lois Elson Results: HERE Latest Squad: Aashrita Bera, Faith Mbellason, Orla Tilbury – Burder, Airah Ishaq, Anushka Badiani , Joe Gallop, Samuel Lowe, Qasim Shabir, Ethan Overton, Siyu Zhou
  • 10U BOYS
    Captain: TBC Results: HERE Latest Squad: Clark Power, Ibrahim Abdelaty, Samuel Dodds, Theodore Warner
  • 11U BOYS
    Captain: Alex Guzder Follow Results: HERE Latest Squad:
  • 12U BOYS
    Captain: TBC Follow Results: Coming Soon Latest Squad:
  • 14U BOYS
    Captain: Alex Guzder/Alex Adie Follow Results: HERE Latest Squad: Toby Sanders, Ricardo Falcon, Harrison Culpan, Toby Park, Seb Tu, Jack Burch
  • 18U BOYS

The Board of Leicestershire Tennis, in consultation with the LTA, has agreed on the following criteria to provide a transparent process for players around selection for County training.
